The inaugural year of the 2022 National Track and Field Tour (NTF Tour) organized by Chris Winter of Athletics Canada has proven to yield great opportunities for "Made In Canada" results for both Canadian and visiting athletes from around the world.
A good example would be the new personal best and achieving the World Championships by Adam Keenan of Victoria with his remarkable hammer thrower of 77.54m.
Another would be the seasonal best by Alysha Newman of Toronto with her 4.70m pole vault and Michelle Harrison of Saskatoon with her personal best of 12.80 seconds in the 100m hurdles.
Both these marks qualify these athletes for the World Championships in Eugene next month.
Providing competition on Canadian soil reduced the need to travel around the world seeking qualification marks for selection to international team for both our U20 teams as well our senior teams.
